Becoming a mother is a very pleasant feeling but before turning into a mother, a woman has to go through several levels and one of them is pregnancy.
I guess pregnancy is the most crucial level for all women and during pregnancy, it’s said to keep a very good care of the mother-to-be.
So here we are again with few tips on sleeping during pregnancy.
Let’s get started:
- It is advised to sleep in left side the most because sleeping in left side ensures proper blood supply to the baby.

- It is advised to not to sleep on stomach or on back as it may increase pressure on baby or on your inner organs.

- Sleeping with pillows that are specially designed for the time is advised.

- Do not drink water 2 hours before going to sleep as during pregnancy, the bladder gets weak and makes difficult to hold urine, so to avoid bothering in night (by going to toilet frequently), the trick is advised.

- Sleep whatever position you wish in first trimester. Sleep in left side in second trimester. Sleep whatever position you wish other than sleeping on back in third trimester.

- Wear loose cloths while sleeping

- Do some yoga or meditation to keep your mind stress free and to get a stress free sleep
