Savannah Guthrie gives birth to a baby girl.
The Today co-anchor is now officially a mom. She gave birth to her hubby’s first child. They have named her Vale Feldman.
She shared the new comer news with fans and followers on Twitter on Thursday morning. Her husband Mike Feldman retweeted the same.
Guthrie tweeted, “My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter…” Feldman’s tweet immediately followed as: “but this sound is like music to my ears.”
The baby girl measured 19.5 inches and weighed 8.5 lbs. The first pic of Vale was showed on Today and Guthrie joked as “The baby is more cheek than head.”
Earlier this year Guthrie wrote on her blog that she is overjoyed to be welcome her baby. She added, “I’m 42 years old, and I honestly didn’t know if I’d ever get this chance.”
Guthrie said she has been never so thankful or blessed and she is lucky. She was afraid for a long time to let herself think to have a baby one day.
Earlier a baby and wedding too was in her cards. On March 14 this year she married then-fiance in Tucson, Ariz and later tweeted everything is beautiful. It was a small and private wedding.
Guthrie was four months pregnant then.
