Everyone didn’t turn to be a winner at the Emmy, but in terms of fashion many just wanted to have some fun on the red carpet.
Sarah Paulson, Lena Dunham and Mayim Bialik were dressed in gowns that were discussed more than other girls.
Girls star Lena, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress, was in a Giambattista Valli pink tutu and shirt, proving she just want to have fun.
Lena on the other hand toned down her dress with simple powder pink silk shirt equipped with Peter Pan collar and cap sleeves, showcasing her new blonde bombshell hairdo. She wore a heavy black eyeliner and red lipstick too. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Jack Antonoff.
Sarah was in black strapless net creation by Armani Privé paired with full skirt. Ahead of the show she said, “It is like an ’80s prom dress, because who wouldn’t want to go to the prom when you didn’t get to go the first time?”
Mayim Bialik too was in an Eighties prom look. She was in a blue lace Oliver Tolentino dress paired with a full length skirt.
Katherine Heigl was in a matronly champagne vintage John Hayles gown. Similarly Kelly Osbourne was dressed in a black and white lace Honor creation.
Julianna Margulies was dressed in a two-tone black and grey unusual dress that was not impressive and also not her best look.
The dress of Lena was like cake and felt like sweatpants
