The night was one worth remembering, when the stars from the sports world and celebrities alike come together for the BT Sports Industry Award at the Battersea Evolution in London this Thursday evening.
Lucky Mecklenburgh, the TOWIE star, shed off her new hairstyle and her see-through double-tier lace dress which also adequately displayed her fabulous figure as she showed up to give away an award. The strapless dress grabbed quite a bit of attention with its plunging neckline and the see-through skirt.
But Lucky posed confidently on the red carpet for photographs. On the way to the event she tweeted ‘En route to the @SportIndustry rocking my new locks,’ and followed by ‘Loved presenting ‘best use of social media’ Award with @mrdanwalker well done QPR #BTSIA.’
Lucky seemed unaffected by her former flame 26-year old Mario Falcone’s appearance on the TV programme This Morning, where he talked about his new girlfriend Sophie Lily Kerr, and how he is ready for settling down.
The event was thronged by sports personalities who attended the event in numbers to celebrate the contributions made by their fellow athletes as well as other contributors to sports.
At the event personalities like the boxer Amir Khan, rugby player Ben Foden, and former ManU stars Peter Schmeichel and Denis Law and others were present. The event opened to a standing minutes’ ovation to former tennis champion and British No. 1 Elene Baltacha, who died this week at the age of 30. The event was attended by around 1500 people.
