After four hours Justin Bieber was released from the LAX airport. He was detailed by US Customs earlier today.
The “Boyfriend” singer was returning from a stint in Asia when the customs detained him at the airport for questioning. His entire entourage along with the black mini van waited outside for him.
A source said the 20-year-old singer need to undergo such routine secondary set of questioning every time he comes to the country as he is of a foreign national. This is due to his other legal issues in the US that he has faced in the past.
Justin Bieber is a Canadian native and flew in Singapore Air from his Asia trip. He landed at LAX at around 1 p.m. PST.
On January 23 this year he was arrested for DUI in Miami. His Asia visit was controversial too. He posted a photo on social networking sites in which he is seen standing inside the Yasukuni Shrine. He received major backlash as the shrine is a memorial honoring lost lives during World War II. However, the young singer apologized saying he thought it was only a place of prayer.
Also, on April 13 he has given a surprise performance with rapper Chance at Coachella in Indio, Calif. and reunited with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.
One onlooker said he escorted Selena through all-access area and even during a Calvin Harris performance both were dancing slow and next to each other.
