Good Morning Britain anchor is pregnant with her first child.
Charlotte Hawkins announced today about her pregnancy on the ITV breakfast show sharing with her co-presenters Sean Fletcher, Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid on Tuesday morning.
The 38-year-old married businessman Mark Herbert in 2008. Her baby will arrive next year in February.
She was wearing a patterned wrap knee-length dress in the show without revealing bump in sight on the morning programme. She looked cute and paired her attire with black open-toe wedges.
The presenter joined the channel this year in April as a part of the new ITV morning line up.
On the Tuesday’s programme the Surrey-resident said, “I have some news… It’s quite nerve wracking… because I’m pregnant, I’m happy to announce. I’m expecting a baby.”
The presenter also tweeted the announcement sharing the good news of her life with fans and followers.
She wrote on Twitter , “I’m delighted to announce some breaking news of my own on this morning – I’m pregnant! Big thanks for all the lovely messages xx.”
Charlotte also came on the show face-to-face with three babies to add angst about her pregnancy and she was forced to work alongside those crying kids. She told the story of mum Sarah Ward who feared to never conceive gave birth to four babies in just nine months.
She received quick congratulations from the co-hosts.
The 43-year-old Susanna tweeted, “Congratulations to our lovely @CharlotteHawkns who is expecting her first baby. The best news Xxx.”
