Factory replaced workers with robots after demand of higher wages

A company in china replaced workers with robots after the human workers demanded to increase their wages.

The factory, which manufactures lenses of German company, Carl Zeiss, fired almost all its employee and replaced them with robots and according to the manager, they are making more profit.

Manager, Zeng Zhiyong, said that “demand from workers were increasing day by day, and we were looking for some ‘way out’”.

“The idea of robots on the place of workers became useful as it ultimately increased our profit”, he added.

In china, the workers’ wages are almost twice as Mexico and four times as India.
