At last the silence has been broken since her daughter was seriously injured on Halloween night.
Claudia Winkleman tweeted, “A huge thank you to the incredible NHS doctors and nurses who are being extraordinary.”
This weekend the 42-year-old TV presenter will be returning to Strictly Come Dancing as co-host.
She said her 8-year-old Matilda is recovering but still long road to go. She suffered burns after her costume was set alight by a candle in October. She was burnt badly of the flames.
Claudia added further on Twitter , “We are bowled over by their kindness and brilliance. Matilda is doing well and although it will be a long road to recovery, she is getting the best possible care.”
She thanked all the fans and followers on Twitter for their lovely messages adding that she is coming back to the show even though she is currently out of practice.
Meanwhile, a BBC spokesperson has also confirmed Claudio is coming back to the Strictly this weekend.
Earlier this year Claudia started with hosting the BBC One celebrity dance contest. She replaced Sir Bruce Forsyth.
Last week the brunette beauty was also rumoured of getting back for the Blackpool show. However, later she confirmed not to return now as she is not ready.
Claudia also has two sons, Jake and Arthur, with husband Kris Thykier.
She has been caring her Matilda for past three weeks and said she won’t leave her until her daughter recovers.
