Gwen Stefani To Replace Christina Aguilera in ‘The Voice’ Season 7

The recent change of celebrity judges in ‘The Voice’ has absolutely shaken the viewers! There are fresh faces you’ll be seeing on the Season 7 and Gwen Stefani is one of them!

While the season 7 that would be aired in NBC has a whole lot of new singers who’ll be trying their luck the lead singer of the band No Doubt has reportedly replaced Christina Aguilera as the judge. She’ll be part of the covered seat of musical chairs.

This change has come into play with very surprising moves recently. First there was news that Pharell Williams is going to sit in place of the rapper CeeLo Green and then comes the Gwen’s replacement of Christina. The upcoming show would initiate filming from June. While it’s sad that Christina would no more be part o the show, Gwen seems to be an equally spunky choice as The Voice’s coach to add to the show’s value.

Rumors have it that Christina has been dropped due to her pregnancy . She’s been the top choice for the show and may be taken back for season 8. Since February when Christina announced that she’s pregnant with boyfriend Matt Rutler’s child the show’s oncoming season came under a shadow. But now since Gwen has given the green signal for joining the show things seem to be rolling smoothly. Meanwhile Gwen is still on a negotiating table with the show’s producers for charting out terms for her contract. The deal however has almost been inked.

So once Gwen is on board she’ll join company with longtime show mentors Blake Shelton and also Adam Levine. That is, if Adam stays on. We also hear raps about Adam Levine bowing out for the current season.

And who would be coming in instead of him? Likely to be Usher, the stand-in we’ve seen a couple of times whenever Adam’s been off the show for some time. And if sources are correct Season could witness a permanent replacement of Adam just in case Adam decides to leave permanently. A whiff in the air says he’s mulling over it seriously. We sure hope he stays on and lets the show’s charm remain just as it was!
