Cake baking company fined for refusing to bake gay marriage cake

A Christian couple who run a cake baking company, Ashers Baking Company, were dragged to court again after they refused to bake a gay marriage cake.

According to the report, the cake was ordered by the gay rights activist, Gareth Lee. Unfortunately, the couple cancelled the order by saying it was against their religious beliefs and hence they couldn’t bake such cake.

Mr. Lee later filed a case against the company and also won. The court had ordered the company the pay $720 as compensation.

However, the couple were disappointed with the decision and hence planning to move to higher court against the decision.
