Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie To Wed Again To Get California Marriage License

The recent wedding of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie shocked the world.

The marriage was secretly held on Saturday in an intimate French ceremony, but it is now being said it won’t be a legal wedding unless the two ties knot in the state, at least if followed the California law.

The couple married at Pitt’s French estate, Chateau Mirval, and the ceremony was presided over by a judge from California. New report suggests citing Department of Public Health that to get California marriage licenses the wedding has to be held within the state of California.

If this law is to be followed, then the couple need to tie the knot two times. Now, either they have already done the needful before the French ceremony or they need to perform the wedding again in California.

According to Los Angeles County Registrar spokesperson the newly wedded couple have ninety days to get married after obtaining the license.

The spokesperson said, “To get married in Los Angeles County, couples need to obtain a marriage license and solemnize their marriage within 90 days… Afterwards, they submit their signed marriage license to receive a marriage certificate.”

After the signed marriage license is submitted to the LA County Registrar, the marriage record takes 6-8 weeks time before becoming available.

Meanwhile, it is learned Pitt and Jolie has planned a top-secret wedding to coincide with 10th anniversary their Mr & Mrs Smith movie.

The two had met first time on the sets of Mr & Mrs Smith.
