The Interview has managed to grab a big $1 million at the box office on Christmas Day. Sony Pictures confirmed it today.
The movie was earlier cancelled by the studio to be screened in theatres in the wake of emails hack. However, later Sony announced The Interview is to be released in limited theatres in North America as well as it will be released on YouTube and streamed online on Google Play.
Angelina Jolie’s WWII drama movie named “Unbroken” too was released on the Christmas Day and it earned $15 million, which is far more than Sony’s The Interview.
The Interview is a Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy movie that spawned North Korea to commence a cyberattack on the company.
