On Friday, Robert Pattinson arrived at the French Riveria to attend the Cannes film festival, and was immediately hounded upon by his fans.
And although you might think that the British actor is used to fame and attention, he still managed to look a little surprised.
The bodyguards accompanying the star had their work cut out, warding off the hordes of the star’s admirers.
Robert Pattinson is attending the Cannes Film Festival for not one but two different films.
May 18 will see the screening of the dystopian crime drama The Rover, which he shot in Australia with actor Guy Pearce co-starring and the screenplay written by Joel Edgerton. The following night will see the prmiering of the David Cronenberg directed Maps to the Stars.
Ther will be enough stars for Mr. Pattinson to hang out with, including his Maps co-stars Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, John Cusack but he will probably be missisng one actress like a lost sailor looking for a shore. But Kristen Stewart won’t be arriving in Cannes until later on May 23, when her film, the Clouds of Sils Maria premieres.
