A Finland boy received $10,000 prize money from Facebook because he discovered a bug in the image-sharing social app, Instagram , which Facebook bought in the year 2012.
The little hacker, Jani, 10, had discovered a bug in the app, through which he could delete any comment.
He contacted the Facebook regarding this flaw by email. He even showed them live by deleting some comments, as a proof.
Facebook fixed the bug in February and then paid $10,000 to the young hacker, who in a talk said “he wants to be a security researcher in future”.
He spent the prize money on a computer, a bike and a football gear.
