Couple buys 300 acres of wasteland to change it in ‘Private Wildlife Sanctuary’

A couple when found the huge amount of wasteland, thought to do something for the Environment and started buying slowly and slowly.

Well, why they were buying – because they wanted to turn it into a ‘India’s First Private Wildlife Sanctury’.

#1 Meet Pamela and Anil K Malhotra. In 1991 they bought few acres of land to grow coffee in Karnataka, India. But they left disappointed as the land wasn’t good for growing coffee.

#2 They that time moved to USA and settled, but soon the idea of ‘Private Wildlife Sanctuary’ struck in their mind.

#3 They then started buying lands and turning them into forest.

#4 By now, they have 300 acres with them, which has become home of animals like deer, snakes, leopards, Tigers, elephants etc.

Here are the few glimpse of SAI Wildlife Sanctuary. Here SAI stands for Save Animals Initiative.
